TEAM NEWS

Dale have Tiernan Brooks and George Nevett back in contention after their international call-ups.

Ian Henderson will serve the final game of his three-match suspension that was picked up at home to Woking over a fortnight ago.

THE OPPOSITION

Gateshead come into the game off the back of a 7-1 win against local rivals Hartlepool United.

That win saw The Heed move up to fourth position in the table as they continue a hugely impressive campaign under Rob Elliott.

He took charge in October following Mike Williamson's departure to MK Dons, and has sustained their playoff push despite the loss of some key players.

It is our third meeting with Gateshead this season. The league game at the Crown Oil Arena ended 2-2, whilst Dale were beaten 5-1 in an FA Trophy tie in December.
