WELCOME TO THE CROWN OIL ARENA – A GUIDE FOR VISITING SUPPORTERS
The following information is aimed at providing details of what you may need in order to plan your visit and make the most of your matchday experience at Rochdale Football Club. Should you need any further details, contact us on social media (see below), or call the club on 01706 644648.
Our Supporter Liaison Officer is John Smallwood. John is located in the Main Stand Ticket Office on a matchday, and welcomes any interaction with fans. On a non-matchday he can be contacted by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
We hope you enjoy your visit to the Crown Oil Arena.
WHERE TO SIT
Visiting supporters are housed in the Reside Estate and Lettings Agency Stand (Willbutts Lane). This is a covered stand and offers the best view of the action on the Crown Oil Arena pitch.
The capacity of our away end is around 3,500. Turnstiles open an hour before kick-off.
Please note that we operate a Category A and a Category B game system for our Sky Bet League One matches at the Crown Oil Arena.
The majority of our Sky Bet League One fixtures fall into the Category A bracket. For Category A games, we offer an early bird price and a matchday price for tickets, therefore, your club will receive an advanced allocation of tickets so you can make the most of these savings.
We strongly advise that you look for details on your own club’s website for full ticket details in the run up to any fixture you may be planning on attending at the Crown Oil Arena.
There are five Category B games - Sunderland, Ipswich Town, Portsmouth, Bury, Bolton Wanderers and Rotherham United.
Category B games incur a £5 increase across all age groups on Category A prices. Please note, however, that for Category B games, there is no price difference between advance ticket prices and matchday ticket prices.
Click HERE to see our admission prices/ details in full.
Where possible, should you wish to pay on the day, in addition to cash turnstiles, you can also pay for your ticket by card at the Rochdale Ticket Office. All bank cards, with the exception of America Express, are accepted.
Please note, there are no cash machines at the ground. The nearest cash points is:
The Co-operative, Edenfield Road, OL11 5AQ. This is 0.4miles from the Crown Oil Arena, and around a 20-minute round trip walk.
Separate turnstiles apply to Adults, Concessions and Juniors, however, the club recognises that some adults may wish to have their children go through the same turnstile, to accommodate this club requests that the adult purchases a ticket in advance of going to the turnstiles.

VISUALLY IMPAIRED SUPPORTERS (HOME & VISITING)

Visually impaired supporters using this area will be charged the concessionary price for their tickets. Should a personal assistant be required, they will not be charged for a match ticket.
Match commentary is provided by the Rochdale AFC Club Website and the headset are available from the Ticket Office by prior arrangement. Please call 01706 644648 (option 8), or email firstname.lastname@example.org to pre-book a headset.
The club strongly recommends that each visually impaired person attending a match should be accompanied by a person who is fully able to support their needs in the event of an emergency.
We also request that visually impaired supporters arrived at the Crown Oil Arena half an hour before kick-off.
