THE OPPOSITION

Woking finished last season’s National League campaign in fourth place, qualifying for the playoffs.

However, they were beaten in the quarter-finals by Bromley, losing 2-1.

The Cardinals have added ten new faces to their squad this summer, with the likes of ex-EFL players Greg Taylor (Cambridge United), Robbie Willmott and Joe Day (Newport County).

They have one point from their opening two games, following a goalless opening day draw at Kidderminster Harriers with a 3-2 loss at home to Altrincham on Saturday. Scott Cuthbert and Reece Grego-Cox scored their goals.

GROUND GUIDE

There is a visitors’ guide to the Laithwaite Community Stadium available HERE via Woking’s website.

Our hosts have also put together a matchday guide, which can be found HERE.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

This will be the first ever meeting between the two sides.

MAN IN THE MIDDLE

Stephen Parking will be the referee for Tuesday’s game. It is his first full season at National League level, although he did take charge of two matches towards the end of last season.

Alex Bradley and Conall Bartlett are assistant referees, with Robert Ablitt as fourth official.
