Rochdale Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Ryan East.
The midfielder joins on loan from Bradford City until the end of the season.
East is a product of the Reading Academy, having signed his first professional contract with The Royals in the summer of 2016.
He was an integral part of their under-23 side for a number of seasons and made his first team debut in March 2019.
The now 25-year-old left Reading for Swindon Town in the summer of 2021, where he made 23 appearances in all competitions as they finished in the League Two playoffs.
East joined the Bantams on a two-year deal last summer, appearing 26 times for Mark Hughes’ side last season.
We’ll be catching up with our new midfielder, as well as getting Head Coach Jimmy McNulty’s thoughts, later this week.
He will wear number four during his time at the Club.
