Dale are back on the road having picked up four points from Brian Barry-Murphy’s first two matches in charge at the Crown Oil Arena.
Accrington Stanley await, having beaten Wycombe Wanderers away in midweek to move them four points clear of the relegation zone.
Dale were 1-0 winners over Stanley back in November, when Ian Henderson’s goal separated the two sides in the reverse fixture.
