Rochdale welcome Scunthorpe United to the Crown Oil Arena on Saturday, in the first home match of the 2017/18 season.
Dale head into the match on the back of Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup win over Mansfield Town. Callum Camps’ stunning first half strike sealed passage through the second round of the competition.
The Iron, meanwhile, started their League One campaign with a 1-1 draw at home to AFC Wimbledon last Saturday, before defeating Notts County 6-5 on penalties in Carabao Cup midweek.

PREVIOUS MEETING AT THE CROWN OIL ARENA
Dale ran out 3-2 winners last time the sides met at the Crown Oil Arena, in December last year.
Joe Thompson scored shortly before the break to put Dale ahead, before second half goals from Ollie Rathbone and Calvin Andrew saw Keith Hill’s men race into a three-goal lead.
Tom Hopper and Neal Bishop scored in the final ten minutes for the visitors to make for a nervy ending, but Dale held on to stay in the play-off places.
