Devante is a forward who joined Dale from Walsall in June 2022, penning a two-year deal at the Crown Oil Arena.
The 24-year-old spent his youth career in the academies at Manchester City and Sheffield Wednesday, before starting his professional career at Hartlepool United in January 2017.
A move to Salford City followed and during his time with The Ammies, Devante enjoyed loan spells at FC Halifax Town and Stockport County.
He went on to join Port Vale in July 2020 and finished as the club’s top-scorer in the 2020/21 campaign, before linking-up with Walsall for an undisclosed fee in January 2022.
