The Youth Team drew 1-1 at near neighbours Oldham Athletic on Saturday.
Somtee Chukwugbo put Latics ahead at the break, but a second-half equaliser from Kevin Dos Santos saw Dale take a point from the game.
It leaves Lee Thorpe's side in 7th place in the EFL Youth Alliance League North West table, with games in hand on the teams above them.
They travel to Blackpool on Tuesday, the team directly above them in the table, with kick-off at 12pm.
