THE OPPOSITION

Maidenhead are new opposition once again for Dale.

They currently sit 20th in the Vanarama National League, but have earned 1-1 draws against strong Chesterfield and Oldham Athletic sides in their last two games.

The Magpies were promoted to the National League in 2017 and have remained at the level since.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two sides.

MAN IN THE MIDDLE

Ruebyn Ricardo will be the referee for Saturday’s game. It is his first full season at National League level following his promotion last season.

Richard Wharton and Peter Lowe are assistant referees, with Lawrence Torz-Brown as fourth official.
