Colchester United are the visitors to Spotland on Saturday for Dale’s second home fixture of the week.

Calvin Andrew (knee) and Matty Lund (shoulder) will definitely miss the match. Stephen Dawson and Olly Lancashire still remain doubtful but may be called upon despite only taking part in one day of training due to niggling injuries sustained by Jack O’Connell and Joe Rafferty, who are also doubtful for the fixture.

Keith Hill’s counterpart, Tony Humes, is said to be without Sean Clohessy, Tom Lapslie and Tosin Olufemi.
