Rochdale are back on the road this weekend as they face league leaders Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Saturday afternoon.

The squad set-off on their overnight trip on Friday morning.

Dale head into the match on the back of Tuesday night’s 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United, while the Robins were 3-1 winners of Doncaster midweek.

Rochdale will be without Calvin Andrew, Stephen Dawson, Olly Lancashire and Matty Lund, who are all injured. Jamie Jones could make his debut after joining on loan from Preston North End on Thursday.

Bristol City Manager, Steve Cotterill, is said to have a full squad to choose from.
