Peterborough United: Preview

7 August 2015

The wait is almost over… as Dale get set to kick-off their 2015-16 League One campaign at Spotland.

Peterborough United are the visitors for the season opener (kick-off is 3pm), which is a repeat of last year’s opening day fixture.

Dale head into the game on the back of a successful pre-season programme, which included wins over Blackburn Rovers, Huddersfield Town and MK Dons, as well as a hard-working week in Tenerife.

Rhys Bennett (arm) and Matty Lund (knee) will miss the match through injury, while Joe Rafferty is suspended as he serves a one match ban following his sending off on the final day of last season.

The visitors are expected to be without defender Jack Baldwin.
