Colchester United: Preview

12 December 2014

Rochdale return to League One action this weekend as they face Colchester United at the Weston Homes Stadium.

The squad set off on the overnight trip on Friday morning.

Dale head into the fixture following Sunday’s FA Cup tie at Aldershot Town, where the sides played out a goalless draw at the ESS Stadium.

The U’s have already booked their place in their third round of the competition with a 1-0 win over Peterborough United.

Matty Done returns from suspension for the match for Rochdale, however, Joe Bunney (illness) and Rhys Bennett (tooth abscess problem) will miss the game.

Colchester’s new signing, Kaspars Gorkss, is expected to make his league debut, however, Magnus Okuonghae and Frankie Kent are unavailable.
