Stephen Collis joined Rochdale in January 2013 as a player / goalkeeping coach.
He was brought to the Club by Keith Hill when he returned for his second spell as Manager.
Collis began his career at Barnet, before moving to Nottingham Forest in 2000. He joined Yeovil Town a year later, making 50 appearances over a five year period for The Glovers.
He left for Southend United in 2006, before joining Crewe Alexandra two years later.
Spells at Bristol City, Torquay United, Peterborough United, Northampton Town, Macclesfield Town and Buxton Town followed, before Collis moved to the Crown Oil Arena in January 2013.
