Donal is a striker who signed a 12-month contract at the Crown Oil Arena in May 2015, with last season’s impressive displays seeing that deal extended by a further year.
The 27-year-old, a graduate of the Manchester City youth set-up, left Eastlands for Huddersfield in July 2011, having spent time on loan at MK Dons, Chesterfield, Scunthorpe and Bournemouth during his days with City.
Donal was only at Huddersfield for six months before linking-up with Bournemouth on a permanent basis. He made little impact on the South Coast and played for Dundalk, Salford City and Ramsbottom United ahead of his move to the Crown Oil Arena.
