The Youth Team are in EFL Youth Alliance League action on Saturday as they welcome Salford City to Platt Lane.
Lee Thorpe’s side have a lot of positives to take from their last two games after picking up maximum points whilst scoring nine goals.
Last weekend, a brace from Brooklyn Bailey and goals from Leo Cooper and Isaac Burgess meant that Dale were 4-1 winners away at Walsall.
Bailey is in fine form, as he netted a hat-trick against Accrington Stanley two weekends ago. Oscar Kelly also netted a brace in that game.
The Youth Team still sit in sixth place with 14 games played on 25 points, but with six points in their last two games, Dale will be hungry for more.
Their opposition this weekend, Salford City, currently occupy ninth place with 16 points after 16 games.
Like Dale, Salford have enjoyed a good run of form recently, winning three of their last four fixtures, drawing the remaining game.
