Afuye has added three appearances in February so far and has notched his first goal for Guiseley.
The winger featured in their 4-3 win over top-of-the-table Radcliffe Borough before scoring in the West Riding County Cup quarter-final against Ossett United, which the Lions won 7-6 on penalties after being level at 1-1 after 90 minutes.

The 22-year-old got another 90 minutes in his tank in Guiseley’s 1-1 draw last Saturday against Ashton United. He almost bagged his second Lions goal but was denied by the post in the first-half following some excellent work from the Guiseley loanee. Afuye continued to be a threat throughout the game, causing the Ashton defence all sorts of problems.
Those three results have left the Lions in seventh place with 46 points after 27 games played. Next up for Afuye and his side is a home game against Morpeth Town tomorrow afternoon.
