Chairman Simon Gauge met with David Tully before Saturday’s match at Altrincham.
Mr Tully is standing as an independent candidate in the upcoming Rochdale by-election.
Mr Gauge explained about the financial challenges at the Club and the obstacles to securing investment, that require political assistance to overcome.
As a Dale Season Card holder, Mr Tully was very understanding of all the issues that the Club face. Securing the future of the Football Club features on the list of election promises that Mr Tully is campaigning on.
The Rochdale by-election takes place on Thursday February 29th, which is also the same day as our Fans’ Forum, which starts at 7.30pm (doors from 7pm).
