Tuesday’s Vanarama National League match at home to Boreham Wood has been postponed.
After the rainfall over the weekend, including during Saturday’s match against Solihull Moors, an independent match official has deemed the playing surface as being in an unplayable condition.
Although the pitch is gradually improving in today's dry conditions, there is further heavy rainfall forecast before the scheduled kick-off time tomorrow. Taking this and the current condition of the pitch into account, and with Dale and Boreham Wood mindful to call an inspection in good time for the benefit of both teams and sets of supporters, the match has been called off.
A rearranged date for the fixture will be confirmed in due course. Any match tickets purchased will be eligible for the new date. Supporters can request a refund on tickets bought once a new date for the game has been confirmed.
The bring a friend for a fiver offer has now been rescheduled for our next home match, which takes place on Tuesday 27th February, when we welcome Wealdstone.
