Dale’s First Team players will show their support for Joe Thompson on Saturday.
The starting eleven will walk out of the tunnel ahead of kick-off wearing ‘THOMPSON 15’ shirts, as pictured above.
Dale legend ‘Joey T’ revealed on Friday that he had been diagnosed with cancer for a third time.
He and his family have set up a Go Fund Me page, as they aim to raise £250,000 to cover the cost of his ongoing treatment and ‘to pioneer a groundbreaking test that could prevent the recurrence of not only my cancer but potentially save countless lives in the future’.

After the game, these shirts will be issued to the Dale Supporters Trust, who will be auctioning/raffling them off to raise funds for Joe.
