The club can confirm that we have appealed the red card shown to Kairo Mitchell on Monday.
The Dale striker was sent off shortly before the break for a challenge on Tom Parkes.
The appeal will be reviewed by an independent panel, with Dale being informed about the result at the earliest opportunity before Saturday’s match at Oldham Athletic.
