Jimmy McNulty is really pleased with where the club is currently at, but is focused on the next moment.
Jimmy McNulty is pleased with his side following the opening six games of the season. Dale currently sit fifth in the Vanarama National League with ten points and have picked up seven points from their last three fixtures.
"I’m really pleased to see where the club's at. I’m really pleased to see the connection between the players, the fans, the football club as a whole and the community," said McNulty.
"We’re working every day. My focus is always on the moment, where we are in the moment, and how we keep making the next moment better.
"I try to keep my focus right there which is I think where it needs to be. The only reason that I’m ever looking back is to learn from it and to help us in the next moment, and the next moment is the next match.
"I’m very grateful to the players and my staff for everything that they have done so far, truly appreciative of all of their efforts, all of their fight, and everything that they have done for each other, and I mean all of them. And I’m glad to see the fans appreciating that."
The Dale Head Coach has been full of praise for the Dale supporters who have backed the lads brilliantly since the opening day of the season. This weekend McNulty is hoping for more of the same whilst encouraging more supporters to come and watch his side this weekend and going forward.
"They [the fans] are a massive part, they have been, and they will continue to be," commented McNulty.
"I would really appreciate them coming down and appreciating our new team and the way that we are trying to play football.
"I would like as many people as possible to come and join what is already there at our games. I’m beginning to sense and feel some changes that feel good to me, feel good to us all. We have had a lot of good feedback in that regard."
