Jesurun Uchegbulam says that he feels like a new signing again following his return from injury after featuring in Saturday's draw with Kidderminster Harriers.
After missing four games through injury, Jesurun Uchegbulam made his return off the bench against Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.
“It has been tough mentally as a player being injured," said Uchegbulam.
"I think that I have got one of the best physio teams that I’ve ever had, they’ve helped me a lot.
"Now coming back, I feel ready to go.
“It feels like I’m a new signing again, it’s just good to be back.
"Being in and around with the lads, learning again and knowing what the gaffer wants from me.
"I’m ready to kick on again now.”
The winger came on in the 69th minute against Kidderminster in what was his first game in almost a month.
“I feel like it was a tough game for the lads, not just because of the conditions but because we played against a decent team.
"I know it wasn’t the greatest first-half from us, but it was good from the lads to bring it back in the second-half and to turn up.
"For me personally, it was good to be back."
Despite featuring three times for Dale, Uchegbulam hasn't yet made his Dale debut. He's said that he's excited to do so this Saturday: "It’s one thing that I’ve been looking forward to [playing at home].
"I’ve not worn the home shirt yet, and that’s another thing that is exciting for me.
"Having the home fans and the atmosphere, it’s going to be something different and it’s something good and exciting for me as a player."
