Report | Dale Women 14-1 Tiki Taka Women

6 November 2023

Rochdale AFC Women were rampant in their victory over Tiki Taka Women on Sunday, scoring 14 times.

After a weekend without a game due to a postponement, Lee Atkinson’s side were back in action in what was only their second league fixture of the season following cup commitments.

Shannon Gill scored four times this weekend, taking her tally to ten goals in just three games in all competitions.

Ellie Fergus bagged another three goals. That’s three hat-tricks in three games for the Dale forward and an impressive 15 goals in total in those fixtures.

Georgia Cocking also grabbed herself a hat-trick with Alicia Barnett, Jodie Cocker, Kallie Weaver and Michelle Lee all scoring one each.

This result gives Dale women six points from six in their opening two games. Check out the league table HERE.

Dale Women's manager Lee Atkinson was delighted once again, with his side's performance: “A fantastic dominating performance from start to finish from the Dale Women.

“Every single player played their part.

“We scored some incredible goals again today. We moved the ball about really well, dominating possession.

“This team just keeps getting better and better every week.

“We’re now in cup action for the next two weeks, and we know that we’re up against two very strong teams in Bury and Colne.”

Dale Women are back in action next Sunday as they face Bury away from home in the quarter-finals of the Manchester FA Women’s Challenge Cup.
