Dale have been drawn at home to Gateshead in the Isuzu FA Trophy third round.
The tie will take place at the Crown Oil Arena on Saturday 9th December, with kick-off at 3pm.
Ticket details for the game will be announced in due course.
The Heed reached the final of last year's competition, where they were beaten 1-0 by Harvey Gilmour's FC Halifax Town at Wembley.
