Rochdale AFC are in cup competition this weekend as they welcome Eccles United FC Ladies to Rochdale St Clements.
Dale returned to winning ways last weekend as they beat Colne FC Ladies 3-1 in the Lancashire FA Women’s Challenge Cup.
Lee Atkinson is looking for more of the same this weekend.
“It’s another cup competition for us to show what we’re made of,” said the Dale Women’s manager.
“We’re taking every game very seriously. We know that every game is very important. We are looking to progress in this cup.
“The squad is in a really good place at the minute, and we are liking the direction we’re going in.
“After Sunday’s performance, the players know that I’ll be looking for more of the same from them.”
Kick-off on Sunday in the Dale Women's Challenge Cup fixture is at 2pm, with supporters able to attend.
