Rochdale AFC Community Trust have signed a deal with Chadderton Motor Company, which will see the car dealership supply the club's official charity with a brand new commercial vehicle.
Chadderton Motor Company Ltd (CMC) was established by Scott Walsh (Managing Director) and has been built off the back of his trusted family-run business, Lynton Refrigeration Ltd.
CMC are the official supplier of MAXUS vehicles across the North West and, looking to promote the company’s community roots as well as promote the fully electric, double cab pickup truck, have agreed to a deal to become the official vehicle partner of Rochdale AFC Community Trust.
The partnership will see CMC supply a brand-new vehicle to the club's official charity, covering the costs for a four-year period.
This will allow the charity to reach even more people, as well as being a big tick in the environmental sustainability box.
“We have been looking for a vehicle partner for a number of months now, and when I first spoke to Brian, he understood our needs straight away,” commented Ryan Bradley, Community Director at Rochdale AFC Community Trust.
“We need a vehicle that can help day-to-day operations, and the MAXUS has both the loading space and passenger comfort to help support all of our programs, whether that be collecting stock or food bank donations or transporting equipment to schools and community venues.
"I’d like to thank Scott and Brian at CMC for providing such a fantastic deal,” finished Bradley.
As well as the vehicle livery promoting the club's official charity across the borough, the deal will also provide a huge boost to the club's green campaign, with the new all-electric vehicle replacing the current diesel van in operation.
