Rochdale AFC can now confirm our retained/released list following the conclusion of the 2022/23 season.
Players out of contract and leaving the club this summer are Aidy White, Jordan Scanlon, Rhys Bennett and Toumani Diagouraga.
Loanees D'Mani Mellor, Femi Seriki, Jake Eastwood, Owen Dodgson and Scott Quigley have all now returned to their parent clubs.
Due to the strength of the current Under-16s and Under-17s (age groups which have provided senior debuts for Kevin Dos Santos, Oscar Kelly, Darren Ehimamiegho and George Nevett this season), regrettably, the decision has been made to release all of the current Under-18s.
Ten players remain under contract heading into the 2023/24 campaign and in addition, three options have been triggered. However, a number of players who remain under contract have been informed that they have been placed on the transfer list with immediate effect.
Any player that remains in talks and eventually wishes to stay with the club next season would be expected to take a substantial drop in salary.
