Dale Proud To Support International Women's Day

8 March 2023

Rochdale Football Club are proud to support International Women’s Day 2023.

This year’s campaign theme is #EmbraceEquity and the club have a number of activities running throughout the day.

Unique Ladies Rochdale, created by the club’s Non-Executive Director Suzy Orr, are holding an International Women’s Day event at the club, which will include guest speakers, exhibits and product stalls, networking and much more (please note this is a ticketed event and is sold out).

The Community Trust have made their Women’s Wednesdays sessions completely free for the evening.

They run from 5pm-9pm, and include fitness activities, a social session and a five-a-side game. Click HERE for full details.

We’re proud to have a number of women working throughout the club and Community Trust, as well as supporting the work of our official Her Game Too ambassadors and advocates. You can visit their Twitter account HERE.

International Women's Day (March 8th) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.

The aim of this year’s #EmbraceEquity campaign theme is to get the world talking about why equal opportunities aren't enough. People start from different places, so true inclusion and belonging require equitable action. Read more about this HERE.
