The Youth Team welcome Bolton Wanderers to Hyde United in the Lancashire FA Professional Youth Cup on Tuesday.
Following Dale’s 3-0 win against Carlisle United in the EFL Youth Alliance League on Saturday, they take a mid-week break from league action to take on Bolton Wanderers in cup competition.
The Youth Team reached the final of the Lancashire FA Professional Youth Cup last year but were narrowly beaten 3-2 by Blackpool.
Lee Thorpe’s side come into the game in good form, winning five of their last six games under his management.
Their only defeat came against Fulham in the FA Youth Cup, where they were only defeated narrowly due to two late goals, in what was an inspiring performance from Dale.
Kick-off is at 2pm. Fans are able to attend with free admission.
