We're pleased to announce that Ian Henderson has won the Sky Bet League Two Goal of the Month award for December.
His backheel goal against Hartlepool United on Boxing Day won the public vote, ahead of strikes from Tom James (Leyton Orient), Sam Hoskins (Northampton Town) and Ethan Chislett (AFC Wimbledon).
Hendo was presented with the award by manager Jim Bentley at training on Thursday.
On winning the award, Dale's all-time record goalscorer said: "I am delighted to receive this EFL Sky Bet League Two Goal of the Month award.
"Thank you to everyone who voted. Your support is very much appreciated.
"Up the Dale!"
The striker is now on 133 goals for the Football Club, having broken the club's all-time record in November last year.
He is now just two goals away from Reg Jenkins' leading total of 119 league goals for the club.
The goal also won the club's Howarth Timber Goal of the Month award for December.
