Rochdale Football Club are delighted to announce that Danny Lloyd has penned a deal until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old signed an initial one-month deal last month and has impressed in his time with the club so far.
He has appeared four times, starting three with one substitute appearance, and assisted Devante Rodney’s goal in Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Newport County.
Speaking after that game, manager Jim Bentley commented: “We were keen to keep him at the club and Danny was keen to stay.
“He’s a really good character. He’s lively in the dressing room and the type of person we want around the place. He cares, he gives his all, he’s polite with fans and he goes out of his way to do what he needs to do as a professional with regards to representing the club.
“He works flat out, he trains well, and he’s done unbelievably well to come back from a terrible injury, which means he ultimately finds himself playing at this level.
“He played well today and in his last home game, winning back-to-back sponsor’s Man of the Match. He was unlucky not to get a goal.
“He’s doing well and we like him. He’s not quite fully up to speed yet but the signs are very good.”
