Over 6,000 tickets have already been claimed for our Boxing Day fixture at the Crown Oil Arena!
Thanks to Rochdale Council, a further 1,000 tickets have been made available for use by local residents who want to cheer on the Dale!
500 tickets had already been made available free of charge to those who maybe struggling with the cost-of-living crisis, with Action Together supporting the marketing and distribution to grassroots and community organisations.
Now, thanks to the Council’s Festive Food Fund, that offer has been extended even further.
Rochdale Council’s support has also provided funding for supporters to have access to a hot drink and food, with Rochdale AFC Community Trust staff providing a ‘hot snack stop’ pre-match for those who want a winter warmer whilst at the game for FREE.
“We would like to thank Rochdale Council for their support of the Festive Cracker fixture,” commented Ryan Bradley, Community Director at Rochdale AFC Community Trust.
“This is going to be a great event for the borough, and we want as many people as possible to join us.
“We also appreciate that Christmas is often a lonely time for many and the support from the Festive Food Fund not only allows us to provide free tickets to residents, but also hot drinks and snacks for those who would maybe come to the game but wouldn’t have the funds or means to purchase at this time of year.”
Council staff and/or local councillors can claim free tickets for themselves and/or their service users by emailing the name and email address of anyone they wish to attend to community@rochdaleafc.co.uk.
Anyone with an @rochdale.gov.uk email address can claim tickets and/or send a request for tickets for service users – all we need is the email address and name of the person(s) wishing to attend.
Tickets will be sent out directly to the person as an e-ticket, and hot drinks/snacks are available from the One Stop Bus on matchday behind the Smith Metals Family Stand.
You have until Friday 15th December to claim your guaranteed tickets – any requests after this date will be subject to availability.
