In relation to the ticketing situation for our away fixture against Stockport County on 22/04/23, the club would like to share the following update.
We can confirm that Stockport County have chosen to alter away ticketing arrangements for our upcoming fixture a week on Saturday. This has created significant confusion amongst our fanbase, and will mean that Rochdale AFC staff now have to relocate those who have already purchased in The Railway End to an alternate area of Edgeley Park. The first correspondence received from Stockport County stating tickets in The Railway End were cancelled was received at 5.10pm on 11/04/23. Tickets for the fixture had been on sale since 15/03/23.
However, following further discussions this morning, it can be confirmed that Stockport County will still fully comply with EFL Regulation 35.3.1 which states: "Each Club must make provision for at least 2000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club's certified capacity, if less than 2000."
