Richard O’Donnell has been voted as the Supporters’ Player of the Season for 2022/23.
The goalkeeper was presented his award by the Dale Supporters Trust representative to the Board of Directors, Murray Knight, before Saturday’s win over Sutton United.
O’Donnell has made 43 appearances so far this campaign, after signing for the club in the summer.
He commented: “I’m honoured to have received this award that has been voted for by you, the fans.
“It means the world to have won it. We all recognise it has been a really difficult season for us, but I would like to thank each and every single one of you, whether you voted for me or someone else, for your support this season.
“I would also like to thank the staff at the club, in particular Kris Dixon [Goalkeeping Coach] for all his hard work this season, as well as the rest of the goalkeepers in the group who have worked extremely hard throughout the campaign.”
Danny Lloyd was also presented with the South Manchester & Cheshire Supporters Club Player of the Season award (pictured below).
