Club Committed To Offering Free Sanitary Products

6 September 2022

Rochdale Football Club and Rochdale AFC Community Trust believe that no-one should have to pay for sanitary products.

Since 2018, after supporting the wonderful ‘On the Baw’ campaign, we have been providing products free of charge in all of our toilets around the club, and we will continue to do so throughout the 2022/23 campaign.

In addition, free sanitary products are now also available on the Community Trust bus, located on the Crown Oil Arena car park, for anyone in the local community who may require them.

Ahead of our ‘Her Game Too’ fixture on Saturday, thanks to an idea from Charlotte Cromarty, the club’s Her Game Too Ambassador, the community bus/ community office will now be a drop-off point for any supporters who wish to donate products.

These will used in the toilets around the club and on the bus to go back into the local community.

Charlotte said: “I am really pleased to set up this donation point at the Crown Oil Arena, on behalf of Her Game Too.

“It’s something that we’ve all been passionate about, both at the club and Her Game Too.

“We believe that no-one should have to buy sanitary products and that they should be available if someone is in need. We want people to be comfortable at games, and initiatives like these can go a long way to helping women feel at ease when they are at the ground.

“We will be very appreciative of any donation, and we thank you for supporting females in football.”
