Rochdale Football Club and Rochdale AFC Community Trust are pleased to announce that Dale’s game against Salford City at the Crown Oil Arena on Saturday 10th September will be our dedicated ‘Her Game Too’ fixture.
The club has been a partner of Her Game Too since last October and held its first dedicated matchday back in March.
The Salford City game will be used to reaffirm our support of the campaign, which aims to highlight sexist abuse that continues to take place in football, as well as engaging with local female grassroots team, to send the message that Rochdale Football Club is open to all.
As such, Rochdale AFC Community Trust are offering FREE tickets to all female grassroots sides across the Borough and Greater Manchester leagues for the Salford City match. Work has been going on behind the scenes to contact clubs, however, if you have yet to hear from the Community Trust and would like your team attend then please email community@rochdaleafc.co.uk for more information or to request tickets before 5pm on Friday 9th September.
In addition, players from Rochdale AFC Ladies teams will be in attendance at the game and will be involved in the matchday itself as flag bearers and the official ball crew.
