We’re pleased to announce that we will again be holding a Prostate Cancer Testing Day, in association with the Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal (BKPCA), at the Crown Oil Arena on Saturday.
It will take place before our home match against Colchester United on Saturday 14th January 2023 (3pm KO), in the Study Centre on Willbutts Lane.
We are encouraging men over the age of 50 (or 45 with a history of prostate cancer in their family) to return for their 12-month test, along with those who have not had the test yet, to know your score. The test measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in your blood and will return a result within a week.
The testing day will take place between 11am-2.30pm and supporters need to book their test slot in advance, which can be done HERE.
Those being tested will be asked for a donation of £10 on the day to go towards the cost of the test, which is £25.
