Eoghan O’Connell was the big winner at the 2021/22 end of season awards presentation, held on Saturday.
The skipper scooped four awards, including the prestigious Dale Trust Supporters’ Player of the Season Award and the Players’ Player of the Season honour.
He also picked up the Goal of the Season accolade for his goal against Hartlepool United on Easter Monday, as well as the South Manchester and Cheshire Supporters Club Player of the Season award.
The Dale Dragon Player of the Season went to Corey O’Keeffe. The Rochdale AFC Community Trust Player of the Season Award was won by Matty Done for his work with the community.
Jeriel Dorsett won Young Player of the Season, while Jordan Scanlon was named as Youth Team Player of the Season.
Oscar Kelly’s stunning goal against Fleetwood Town on Easter Monday scooped the Youth Team Goal of the Season award, as voted for by supporters.
Stephen Dooley was chosen as Club Player of the Season by the Board of Directors.
There was also a special recognition award for Matty Done, who reached the fantastic milestone of 300 Rochdale appearances this season.
