What's Inside Saturday's Matchday Programme

31 March 2022

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Swindon Town.

The programme took a break during the behind closed doors 2020/21 campaign, but has returned this season with 76 jam-packed pages to keep readers completely informed and entertained.

TVOS starts with a front cover image of Matt Done, who recently made his 300th appearance for the club.

Matt features quite prominently throughout the programme in recognition of him reaching this milestone and we have one of our famous statistical breakdowns of his time with the club and how that 300 figure was reached.

Manager Robbie Stockdale reflects on Tuesday’s win over Carlisle United, while Countdown to Kick-Off looks at great Dale comebacks.

After that we have a host of features, including:

SHIRT NUMBERS, HEAVEN & HELL – A feature looking at players who wore shirt numbers that didn’t suit their position in 2012/13

ON THIS DAY – What were Dale doing in the past on 2nd April?

100 YEARS IN THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE – The next instalment of the series looking back at Dale’s debut Football League campaign in 1921/22

We also have our regular League Two round-up and opinion pages from Brian Quigley and Scrutator, while Charlotte and Isabelle continue to bring us the female perspective in The Dale Way.

Action photos appear from the games against Carlisle (away) and Sutton, while Ryan Bradley updates readers with news from the Rochdale AFC Community Trust.

Matt Done reveals who is the best opponent he has faced and we have our regular historical pages looking at Dale’s results in this week in the past.

Swindon Town aren’t left out and get plenty of coverage, including a round-up of their current form and player profiles and historical connections between The Robins and Dale.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
