Goalkeeper Jake Eastwood has joined Dale on an emergency loan from Championship side Sheffield United.
It follows a foot injury sustained by Jay Lynch, leaving him sidelined alongside Joel Coleman. Brad Wade is unavailable.
Jake will go straight into the starting eleven for Rochdale’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Bristol Rovers this afternoon.
The 25-year-old came though the youth ranks at the Blades before signing his first professional contract in 2016.
In addition to one senior appearance for the Bramall Lane club, he has also enjoyed loan spells at the likes of Chesterfield, Scunthorpe United and Kilmarnock. Earlier this season he went out on an emergency loan to League One side Portsmouth.
