Dale goalkeeper Brad Wade gained some valuable Emirates FA Cup experience on Saturday, as he featured for Guiseley AFC in their first round tie against AFC Wimbledon.
The Lions, who were impressive throughout, pushed their League One opponents all the way in a tight game at Plough Lane.
Unfortunately, in the end, despite a valiant display, Ollie Palmer’s composed finish just before half-time ended Guiseley’s FA Cup journey.
Wade joined the National League North side towards the end of last month and kept a clean sheet on his debut.
