Gavin Bazunu Earns First Senior International Call-Up

Gavin Bazunu has earned his first call-up to the Republic of Ireland senior squad for their upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

They face Serbia away, before taking on Luxembourg at home, in Group A of 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification. They then face World Cup hosts Qatar in a friendly to round off their March fixtures.

Bazunu has been a regular for Republic of Ireland's Under-21 side in recent seasons, as well as representing the Under-17s previously.

The goalkeeper, on-loan from Manchester City, has made 30 appearances in all competitions for Dale this season, recently winning the February Supporters' Player of the Month award.
