An Update Following Wednesday's Fans Forum

11 March 2021

We would like to thank those supporters who tuned in to Wednesday night’s Fans Forum, as well as those who sent in questions for the top table.

At its peak during the Forum, there were almost 1,000 live viewers, a number far greater than any previous Forums were able to achieve. The broadcast is available to watch back on the Club’s official YouTube channel.

A number of topics were discussed, including the Club’s philosophy, playing style, support of the management team, how Covid-19 has impacted us financially, the Crown Oil Arena playing surface, Dale Lotto, and much more.

We have had a number of follow up questions about the contract end date for Brian Barry-Murphy. We can confirm that his contract with the Club runs until May 2022.

We accept and apologise that communication on this topic hasn’t been up to the high standards we aspire to.

What we would like to emphasise is that all Club staff – Brian, Lee Riley, the players, the Board of Directors included – are working incredibly hard under tremendous stress, but that everyone is united in wanting to do the best for Rochdale Football Club.

We hope the Forum displayed the fighting spirit we have at this Club, as we enter the final 12 games of the campaign as a united force in attacking the relegation battle we have ahead.

As an army of one, we can overcome the challenges ahead of us.

Finally, everyone at the Club would like to send their best wishes to Andrew Kelly as he recovers from illness. Our thoughts are with you.

Up The Dale!
