Rochdale AFC Community Trust’s innovative ‘Communities United’ programme has proven to be a great hit with participants so far.
The project, which launched last month, brings people from different faiths and races together through a common goal.
The Khan family are one of ten families who have participated in the weekly sessions, which aim to promote inclusion within the Borough.
Adeel and Safia, along with their three children Rumaisa, Taha and Yusuf, have all enjoyed taking part in the project.
“The programme so far has been engaging, interesting and informative,” Adeel said.
“It’s been a great pleasure to meet other families from different backgrounds and cultures.
“It is a fantastic way to meet new friends and break down barriers.”
