Following yesterday’s Government announcement that the plan to allow supporters’ return to stadia would be paused, Rochdale Football Club wishes to issue the following statement.
The Club are obviously disappointed by yesterday’s news, but fully understanding of the decision to place the health and wellbeing of our community first.
We are hopeful that fans can return to live football matches as soon as possible, and hope the above measures are only temporary.
We are also fully aware of the concerns and questions supporters may have in regard to their Season Cards and Dale Family Rewards Cards.
In light of Tuesday’s announcement, the Board of Directors will now explore all options that the Club can offer those supporters who expected to be attending matches from the start of October.
The ongoing situation is an ever-changing one, but we hope to make an announcement on the options supporters will have by early next week.
We would like to thank all Dale fans not only for their patience in these matters, but also the fantastic loyalty and support they have shown to the Club during the last six, incredibly challenging months.
