Dale's Carabao Cup Round Two tie against Sheffield Wednesday will take place on Tuesday 15th September.
The match at the Crown Oil Arena will kick-off at 7.45pm and take place behind closed doors.
Supporters will be able to watch the game on iFollow Dale by purchasing a match pass for £10, which will be available to buy shortly.
Dale beat Championship Huddersfield Town 1-0 away from home in Round One, whilst Sheffield Wednesday were penalty shootout winners over Walsall.
The winner of the tie will face either Ipswich Town or Fulham away from home in Round Three.
