An update on the potential return of fans to the Crown Oil Arena...
With the Government set to review Covid restriction tiers on December 16th, work is continuing behind the scenes at the Club to ensure that we would be ready and able to welcome some fans back to the Crown Oil Arena on December 19th, should Greater Manchester be placed into Tier 2.
The Club has had Covid secure plans in place since earlier this season, in anticipation of supporters attending fixtures from October, so we are re-engaging with the relevant authorities about any potential return of fans, hopefully before Christmas. We are fully prepared for a swift turnaround between any announcement and our League One fixture against Gillingham on December 19th, should circumstances allow.
The Safety Advisory Group, who would need to finally approve the details and give us the green light for fans to return should we go into Tier 2, is meeting with Club officials this week, so we will be in a better position to update supporters with our plans in the coming week.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support and understanding.
