Dale's under 18 side face Bradford City in the Youth Alliance Cup on Tuesday afternoon.
The match at Stalybridge Celtic’s Bower Fold has a 1pm KO. Admission is free.
The format is similar to that of the Leasing.com Trophy, in that the competition starts with a group stage element.
Dale have already played one group stage tie, beating Notts County 4-1, and currently top Northern Group 5.
Following the closure of Bury’s Academy, the group is now made up of four teams, Preston North End being the other.
