Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League One fixture against Wycombe Wanderers.
The programme is once again a 76-page issue this season, containing plenty of reading to keep fans entertained and informed before, during and after the match.
The programme starts with a front cover image of defender Jim McNulty, who recently signed a contract extension to keep him at the club until 2021.
Manager Brian Barry-Murphy looks ahead to taking on what he considers to be a very good and tough Wycombe side, while also explaining how he hopes his philosophy and style of play will produce improved results at home.
After that the programme is packed with new features, including:
MY TEAM-MATES – Luke Matheson reveals all about his pals in the Dale squad
THINK OF A NUMBER – looking at facts, figures and connections between Dale and Wycombe Wanderers
COLOURFUL MEMORIES – recalling three previous games against The Chairboys from the perspective of the kits worn
ROOM 101 – Matt Done reveals the things that annoy him
BACK OF THE NET – a whole-season article focusing on the exploits of Dale’s top 25 goalscorers of all-time, this time with 1930s striker, Jack Milsom
We have a lengthy new-look visitors’ section, as well as a Traveller’s Tales on the trip to Shrewsbury.
Our regular historical pages – ‘On This Day’ and ‘Through The Years’ – will help readers to jog their Dale memory banks, while regular contributors Scrutator, Brian Quigley, Steven Rittey and John Rowe are back with their thought-provoking and informative columns.
Meanwhile, action photos appear from the games against Blackpool and Carlisle.
All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
